COVID-19 and Sapphire & Lily Events
We are committed to stopping the spread of COVID-19. All of our coordinators follow strict health guidelines set out by the Ministry of Health and our Government.
All of our consultations will be virtual.
Vendor meetings will be virtual unless otherwise set out by the other attending businesses.
Each of our coordinators will have a COVID-19 travel kit. We include extra disposable masks, hand sanitizer, disinfectant wipes and spray, along with our Day of Emergency kit.
Your coordinator will wear a mask for the duration of the event.
All coordinators; will respect a distance of 2 meters (6 feet) and ensure all guests are following these distances.
If you need to postpone your event, we will work with you to determine if we have your next desired date available and provide you with information on the process. Please reach out to us as soon as possible to make any changes to your contract.

What vendors can I have?
Your officiant, photographer, planner/coordinator, florist or decorator and DJ can provide services with proper PPE and safe distancing.
Are our vendors included in our guest count?
Once we enter the stages vendors will no longer be counted as a guest.
What are guest limits?
For indoor ceremonies, the capacity is ten (10) people.
Indoor receptions are not allowed.
Outdoor ceremonies are at the capacity of the space while being able to maintain a 2m distance.
Outdoor Receptions capacity is ten (10) people.
Any tents must be open 50%, or 2 of the sides, to be considered an outdoor space.
Is dancing allowed? Only “first” Dances are permitted
Can we offer time slots for our guests to “attend”?
No! The government does not allow for multiple groups at capacity limits to rotate through.
Are the rules different if we have our wedding at an event centre?
As we understand, there is no difference between the restrictions for private property/space vs a fully staffed Event Venue.

What changes happen in stage 2?
Hair salons will be able to start providing services.
You will be able to have your hair done while being masked for the duration of your appointment.
What are capacity limits for stage 2?
Indoor ceremonies can proceed at 15% capacity
Indoor receptions can proceed with five (5) persons
Outdoor ceremonies will proceed at the capacity of the space, which allows for 2m of distancing.
Outdoor receptions will proceed with 25 persons.
